good art is telling the truth, bad art is telling a lie
there's only one truth that can exist, while an infinite amount of lies can be made otherwise.
the truth is supposed to be accepted as the truth and therefore any reaction to it whether it be positive or negative changes nothing, since it is entirely the truth and cannot be changed by someone's interpretation of it or opinion.
you don't tell the truth for someone to like hearing it, or dislike hearing it, you tell it because it is the truth.
people tell the truth simply because it is entirely authentic and definitive within reality, you usually gain absolutely nothing worldly from telling it, however you receive universal spiritual and divine reward for upholding an inherent human necessity. nobody wants to be lied to, so by adhering to the truth you virtuously keep the torch lit and carries it into future generations, so that there be less suffering.
lies are told for worldly gain, they are entirely transactional. there is no reason to lie unless it is in your benefit to do so, while telling the truth is inherently sacrificial.
this is complete bullshit
imagine a lil guy who wakes up one day and decides he needs to make some money. he remembers that one time someone strapped a banana to the wall with cellotape at the moma, so he decides to do the exact same thing with an apple. he then pays someone who is skilled in art critique to write a bunch of nonsense about it, describing it as being a transcendental metaphor of the moment in time between the separation of man from the presence of god in the garden of eden or some shit, makes an abhorrent amount of money from deceiving people into believing it and voila he is now an "artiste"
imagine some fumbling teenager who just bought a wacom tablet and downloaded some free photoshop brushes, started watching youtube tutorials on how to draw cute anime girls, draws his own cute anime girls with his favourite "aesthetic" (nu-vapor frutigerwave metalheart-core), posts it on instagram, notices that everyone else who is doing the exact same thing as him is making money, puts ads on his crap and sells redbubble print on demand tees with his crap, makes youtube tutorial shorts with his crap, sells his content, sells his products, sells his carbon copy formulated fast food mcdonalds style art products, voila he is now an "artiste"
imagine someone who has an unexplainable desire burning within themselves and needs an outlet to express this desire regardless of anything, they know it needs to happen, they need to get this outside of their head and onto the canvas. they need some way to translate what they have been gifted from outside reality into a physical form within reality, and there's nothing else that matters besides ensuring that this is accomplished in the most efficient way to have the most authentic possible translation of that concept, voila he is now a "schizophrenic weirdo"
one of these three is not like the others
